We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Draftsman to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and sewer systems. As a Civil Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in the design and execution of construction projects, overseeing the transformation of concepts into detailed schematics. You should be proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Your expertise will guide the planning and implementation phases of projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for civil engineering projects.
• Create three-dimensional models for visualization and project planning purposes.
• Collaborate with civil engineers to develop design and construction drawings.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to prepare infrastructure plans.
• Review engineering drawings and design calculations for accuracy and compliance.
• Update and maintain project plans and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Consult with project managers and architects to refine project designs.
• Coordinate plans with other professionals, such as architects and engineers.
• Prepare as-built drawings to document construction progress and changes.
• Assist in surveying and collecting data to support project design activities.
• Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings to provide technical insights and updates.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineers and architects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
