As a CCTV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of closed-circuit television systems. Your role involves setting up and ensuring the functionality and reliability of these surveillance systems, which are crucial for maintaining security in various establishments. You will collaborate with clients and team members to assess their security needs and ensure that the systems are properly configured to meet those needs. Responsibilities

• Install and set up CCTV systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct routine maintenance and perform troubleshooting on CCTV systems.
• Assess client requirements to determine optimal CCTV system configurations.
• Ensure the security and functionality of all installed CCTV units.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Educate clients on system use, safety protocols, and troubleshooting tips.
• Provide technical support to clients over the phone and on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations and standards.
• Diagnose and fix any faults in the system to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends to improve service offerings.
• Manage inventory and order necessary supplies for installations and repairs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CCTV technician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of electronic systems and CCTV installations.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and carry equipment as needed.
