As a CCTV Camera Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing surveillance systems in various environments. Responsibilities

• Install closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems in various settings including commercial and residential.
• Provide routine maintenance to ensure systems are functioning optimally and efficiently.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with existing camera systems and resolve them promptly.
• Document installation processes, configuration changes, and maintenance activities for future reference.
• Coordinate with clients to assess their specific surveillance needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations to guarantee system reliability.
• Remain updated on new CCTV technologies and trending security solutions in the market.
• Train end-users on the proper use and management of the CCTV systems for optimal performance.
• Repair or replace faulty hardware components to minimize service disruption.
• Conduct periodic audits of CCTV systems to ensure continuous operational efficiency.
• Liaise with security personnel to understand and interpret their surveillance requirements effectively.
• Respond to emergency calls to resolve urgent technical issues in a time-sensitive manner.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a CCTV Camera Technician or similar role in the security sector.
• Strong understanding of CCTV system architecture and network infrastructure requirements.
• Technical proficiency with fiber optic cabling, coaxial cabling, and other relevant technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex CCTV systems and diagnose technical issues accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in operations and installations.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Able to work at heights and in various work environments, outdoors and indoors.
