Automation Tester 14N25

An Automation Tester at our company is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the efficient performance and quality of our software applications. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for diverse software applications using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform automated functional, regression, and performance tests to identify software defects.
• Analyze test results to discover, document, and communicate software defects effectively.
• Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Enhance existing test scripts and test processes to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Work on continuous test execution and reporting through CI/CD pipelines.
• Review requirements and design specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases as per product specifications.
• Ensure all software testing activities are performed in line with company quality standards.
• Engage in code reviews and provide input on improving the code quality.
• Document and track bugs and verify bug fixes during the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Automation Tester or in a similar role for at least two years.
• In-depth knowledge of automation frameworks and automated testing tools like Selenium.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is required.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in testing processes.
• Experience with version control systems and continual integration environments like Jenkins.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on delivering high-quality software products.
