Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using recognized test automation tools.
• Collaborate with software developers and project managers to define test requirements and strategies.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using standard bug-tracking tools.
• Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
• Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure software updates do not introduce new defects.
• Create and manage comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data repositories.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on potential quality issues concerning testability.
• Analyze test results to improve system functionality and quality through continuous feedback.
• Develop and execute performance and scalability tests on various software systems.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in test automation technologies.
• Provide regular reports and updates on the status of testing activities to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as an Automation Test Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in continuous testing and integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with great communication skills.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git for source code management.
• Understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
