Responsibilities

• Assess and document the extent of damage to vehicle bodywork accurately.

• Utilize hand tools and machinery to repair dents and bodywork imperfections.
• Repair damaged vehicle frames using hydraulic or pneumatic tools.
• Weld or solder parts to restore the vehicle to factory specifications.
• Match and blend paint work seamlessly with existing vehicle paint finishes.
• Ensure all repaired vehicles adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with mechanics and painters to ensure seamless vehicle repair processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and repair techniques.
• Provide detailed repair documentation for client and insurance purposes.
• Train junior staff or apprentices in body repair techniques as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory for the position.
• Certification in automotive body repair and related fields preferred.
• Minimum of three years of proven experience in auto body repair work.
• Profound knowledge of various vehicle body repair and welding techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in delivering quality repairs.
• Competency in using hand tools, mechanical, and diagnostic equipment.
