As an Assistant Manager - Interiors, you will be instrumental in driving the vision and execution of interior design projects. Your role will encompass coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client specifications. You will be responsible for managing interior design projects from inception to completion, collaborating with designers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure successful completion. Your expertise will contribute to elevating the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces. You will also play a vital role in mentoring junior designers and developing innovative solutions to meet our clients' needs. This position requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all phases of interior design projects from conception to completion.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure the project aligns with goals.
• Develop project plans, including budget estimations, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Supervise and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback on project work.
• Assist in client presentations and prepare design proposals with detailed specifications.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, health, and safety regulations for all designs.
• Track project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Stay updated on industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions in project designs.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring materials and services meet project requirements.
• Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and design implementation accuracy.
• Negotiate with vendors and contractors to secure the best pricing and services.
• Prepare reports and documentation for project review meetings and status updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design or related role.
• Proven ability to manage projects from inception through completion successfully.
• Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring or managing design teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with clients effectively.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs.
• Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices in interior design.
