Responsibilities

• Develop architectural and interior design plans based on client specifications and needs.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Create detailed drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Analyze building codes, by-laws, space requirements, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with contractors and construction teams to ensure project adherence to design specifications.
• Manage project schedules to ensure deadlines and budgets are consistently met.
• Research and select sustainable materials and design techniques for environmentally friendly structures.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in architecture and interior design to incorporate innovative ideas.
• Conduct on-site visits to ensure construction and design align with plans and make necessary adjustments.
• Prepare and present designs and plans to clients for approval and feedback.
• Facilitate regular communication between all project stakeholders to ensure efficient workflow and problem resolution.
• Review and approve designs, shop drawings, and samples submitted by subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field required.
• Proven experience as an Architect or Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Extensive knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate client engagement and teamwork.
• Strong creative and visualization skills with an eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadline constraints efficiently and effectively.
