Maintenance Electrician (225-729)

A Maintenance Electrician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems within a facility. This position is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical wiring and equipment. Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components regularly to prevent system malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to restore systems to full functionality.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical panels, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment within the facility.

• Prepare detailed reports documenting inspections, maintenance, and repair work undertaken.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or in a similar role.
• Valid electrician’s license or Journeyman certification required for the role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical and safety codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics accurately.
• Excellent physical condition and manual dexterity for working with electrical systems.
