Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D landscape designs using industry-standard design software.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their landscape design preferences and requirements.
• Conduct site analysis to evaluate the conditions and potential of outdoor spaces.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to integrate landscape designs with building structures.
• Create sustainable and environmentally-friendly landscape solutions to improve ecosystem health.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for landscape projects.
• Source and select appropriate plant materials and other landscaping elements.
• Manage project timelines to ensure timely completion of landscape projects.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors to coordinate landscape installation work.
• Ensure compliance with zoning, environmental, and other applicable regulations.
• Attend client meetings and present design proposals for approval and feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in landscape architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in landscape design with a strong portfolio of past projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of environmental sustainability and eco-friendly design practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.
