Job Description

As a KG2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of young learners aged 5 to 6 years. Your primary focus will be to facilitate a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that encourages the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of each child. You will employ dynamic teaching methods to engage children in diverse learning activities, ensuring that each child develops essential skills and a love for learning. Working closely with fellow teachers, parents, and school administrators, you will tailor educational plans to cater to individual learning needs and aptitudes. You will also be responsible for assessing student performance and progress, integrating innovative approaches to enhance the educational experience.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the interests and abilities of children.
  • Create a safe and engaging classroom environment conducive to the learning process.
  • Employ a variety of teaching tools to encourage active participation and interaction.
  • Monitor and assess students’ academic performance and social development regularly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate school activities and shared learning goals.
  • Communicate with parents regarding their child’s progress and potential areas needing support.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' activities, attendance, and academic progress.
  • Encourage positive behavior and respect among students through role modeling and guidance.
  • Incorporate instructional technologies to enhance classroom engagement and understanding.
  • Prepare students for the transition to higher-level educational settings with necessary skills.
  • Attend professional development programs to improve teaching techniques and methodologies.
  • Participate actively in cultural and community events organized by the school.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least two years of teaching experience at the kindergarten level preferred.
  • Deep understanding of child development stages and early education curriculum.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in both verbal and written English.
  • Proven ability to design age-appropriate instructional activities and lesson plans.
  • Pediatric First Aid certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Patience and strong dedication toward fostering a supportive educational environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and administrative staff.
