Job Description

The Territory Sales Officer is a strategic role designed to drive sales growth and expand market presence within a specific geographical region. This position involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The individual will work closely with the sales team and various internal departments to meet sales targets and operational goals. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient customer service.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients effectively.
  • Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to outperform them.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and feedback to the sales manager.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay updated with industry standards, developments, and competitive positioning.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns for product launches or special offers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven work experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally in a related industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated history of closing significant deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics and respond to customer demands strategically.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite are essential.
