Job Description

As a Telesales Representative, you will play a crucial role in generating sales through direct communication with potential clients over the phone. Your primary objective will be to persuade customers to purchase products or services, thus helping the company meet its sales goals. You will also be responsible for maintaining records and providing feedback to management about client interactions. A successful Telesales Representative is an excellent communicator with persuasive abilities and a keen understanding of handling sales quotas and customer service inquiries. Responsibilities

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about products or services.
  • Utilize scripts to provide information and generate sales through telecommunication.
  • Answer questions about products, services, and the company to potential customers.
  • Ask relevant questions to understand customer requirements and close sales effectively.
  • Direct prospects to the field sales team or when required, in-person meetings.
  • Record detailed information in the CRM system about calls and sales conversions.
  • Handle grievances or complaints to preserve the company’s reputation effectively.
  • Achieve daily or weekly quotas for calls made and sales achieved diligently.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients by following up on inquiries or feedback.
  • Build healthy customer relationships by understanding and meeting customer needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive products for effective pitching.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and feedback.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a telesales representative or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using computers, CRM software, and telephone systems efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade customers.
  • Strong sales ability, self-motivated, and goal-oriented in achieving targets.
  • Understanding of sales techniques and how to use them on calls effectively.
  • Good negotiation skills to handle challenging customer situations and close sales.
  • High school diploma; a degree in business or related field is an advantage.
