Job Description

A Telesales Executive plays a crucial role in driving sales and generating revenue for a company through outbound and inbound calls. They are responsible for reaching out to potential and existing customers, promoting the company’s products or services, and closing sales deals. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, persuasive abilities, and a strong understanding of the sales process. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and driven by targets and goals. A successful Telesales Executive is not only adept at selling but also at building and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure ongoing sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients and introduce products or services effectively.
  • Respond promptly to inbound customer inquiries, providing information and resolving issues.
  • Achieve set sales targets and revenue goals through closing sales and upselling.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company’s products and services for effective communication.
  • Build and nurture client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Record customer interactions and sales activity accurately in the CRM system.
  • Navigate objections and rejections to turn potential clients into sales opportunities.
  • Continuously improve sales skills and techniques through training and feedback sessions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
  • Provide customers with product demonstrations or other information as needed.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by offering tailor-made solutions and addressing concerns.
  • Identify potential sales leads and opportunities through research and referrals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in telesales or a similar sales/customer service role.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills are essential.
  • Demonstrable ability to meet sales goals and manage targets effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software experience is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle rejection positively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional sales training is a plus.
