Job Description

A Telesales Executive is a proactive and dynamic professional responsible for direct telephone communication with potential clients to sell products or services. This role demands excellent communication skills, strong persuasion abilities, and a results-driven mindset. As a Telesales Executive, you will be expected to identify potential sales opportunities, maintain strong relationships with clients, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Responsibilities

  • Engage potential clients through direct telephone communication to promote products or services.
  • Identify and develop new business leads and sales opportunities effectively.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned by management.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand potential customer needs and preferences.
  • Provide clients with product information and professional advice as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of products and services offered.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to align efforts towards company goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for team meetings and strategy discussions.
  • Handle client complaints and queries to ensure excellent customer service satisfaction.
  • Continuously update professional knowledge through workshops or courses as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, telesales, or customer service is required.
  • Demonstrable ability to meet and exceed set sales targets regularly.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and persuasion skills are essential.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent and resilient.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in business is preferred.
