Job Description

A Supply Chain Analyst in the E-Commerce sector plays a vital role in ensuring that the supply chain processes are efficient, effective, and able to meet the demands of the e-commerce landscape. This position involves analyzing data to improve the supply chain operations, forecasting inventory needs, and developing strategies for logistics optimization. The goal is to enhance cost control, boost productivity, and align the supply chain operations with business strategies. The individual will be required to collaborate closely with purchasing, logistics, and IT departments to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve service delivery in the dynamic field of online retail.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify potential improvements and cost savings.
  • Forecast inventory needs based on trends and historical data analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain performance.
  • Monitor supply chain performance metrics and prepare detailed reports.
  • Optimize inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overages or shortages.
  • Work with suppliers to improve delivery times and reliability metrics.
  • Develop and implement strategies for process improvements and workflow efficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate supply chain documentation for compliance and strategic planning.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of logistics solutions and partners.
  • Support supply chain continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction projects.
  • Create and present data-driven insights to management for strategic planning.
  • Ensure that supply chain activities are aligned with corporate goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in supply chain analysis in e-commerce.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or related software.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
