Job Description

As a Senior Executive in Procurement/Supply Chain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient sourcing of quality products and services, maintaining supplier relationships, and optimizing the overall supply chain operations. Your expertise will be critical in negotiating contracts, managing procurement budgets, and implementing best practices to enhance cost-effectiveness and supply chain efficiency. You will work closely with multiple departments to align supply chain strategies with business objectives, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and regulations. Your analytical skills and strategic mindset will be key in driving improvements in supply chain processes and achieving the company's procurement goals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to support organizational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential supply chain risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and priorities.
  • Oversee the procurement budget and ensure financial alignment with company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards, and legal requirements.
  • Identify and implement best practices to enhance procurement processes and efficiency.
  • Track and report on key supply chain metrics and drive operational improvements.
  • Lead and mentor procurement team members to develop their skills and careers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for the successful execution of supply chain projects.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and supply chain resilience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement or supply chain management roles.
  • Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract management.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience with procurement software and supply chain management tools preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
