Job Description

As a Software Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and adoption of our state-of-the-art software solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their distinct needs and demonstrate how our offerings can meet their business objectives. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with prospective and current customers, facilitating the pre-sales process, and contributing to the achievement of sales targets. Expect to collaborate with marketing teams to strategize on lead generation and conversion while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of our software solutions. This role demands a blend of technical understanding, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills to articulate value propositions effectively and close deals successfully.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our software products and features.
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities through customer research and cold calling.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify and address client-specific requirements and challenges.
  • Deliver targeted software demonstrations to showcase product capabilities and value.
  • Build and nurture lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective lead generation strategies.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements to achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and competitors to anticipate market changes.
  • Provide post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  • Participate in sales events, conferences, and seminars to promote company products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience in the software industry or a similar field.
  • Strong understanding of software product lifecycle and client needs analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and close deals consistently.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and sales tracking software efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming objections.
