Job Description

As a Software Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales strategies and efforts of our software products. This position involves cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with both new and existing clients to generate and increase sales. You will be responsible for understanding the detailed workings of our software solutions and effectively communicating their benefits and features to potential customers. Your objective is not only to meet but to exceed sales targets by delivering knowledgeable consultations and presentations. Staying informed about industry trends and competitive products will empower you to provide valuable insights and tailor solutions to meet clients' specific business needs.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
  • Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for potential customers.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our software solutions and features.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with prospective clients to secure sales.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to generate sales leads.
  • Continuously analyze market trends and competitively position products.
  • Provide expert consultation and training sessions to key clients as required.
  • Assist in developing and refining the sales strategy to grow market share.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful software sales experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of software solutions and technology markets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic sales team.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with demonstrated success.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet client and sales objectives.
