The Social Media Executive plays a pivotal role in shaping the online presence and reputation of a company or organization across various social media platforms. This role involves creating, editing, and curating engaging content to grow the brand’s reach and influence. The Social Media Executive works closely with marketing teams to ensure brand consistency while implementing strategies that increase followers, drive engagement, and generate leads. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals.
  • Create, curate, and manage published content across all social media platforms.
  • Analyze social media campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO, and social advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
  • Identify and manage company influences and collaborating with them for brand promotion.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all social media channels and promotional campaigns.
  • Compile reports on performance metrics, including community growth, engagement levels, and overall reach.
  • Stay informed about changes in social media platforms to maximize results across all channels.
  • Plan, execute and track paid social advertising campaigns including budget management.
  • Engage with clients or followers through comments and messages, fostering community and promoting brand image.
  • Deploy social listening tools to measure brand perception and sentiment in the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field is standard.
  • Minimum of two years proven experience as a Social Media Executive.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills ideal for content creation.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
  • Creative thinking with an analytical approach for strategic planning and execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working collaboratively across various teams to achieve goals.
