Job Description

The Social Media Assistant plays a crucial role in driving the online presence of our brand by maintaining and enhancing social media initiatives. Working closely with the marketing team, the Social Media Assistant is responsible for creating engaging content that resonates with our audience across various platforms. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and an understanding of the ever-evolving digital landscape. The Social Media Assistant will help manage and monitor our social media accounts, engage with followers, and assist in the execution of social media campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to analyze data to optimize our social media strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content for various social media platforms in line with brand identity.
  • Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness.
  • Monitor social media accounts and respond to comments and messages promptly.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to schedule and publish posts consistently.
  • Track social media metrics and prepare reports to assess campaign performance.
  • Engage with followers and encourage community interaction through creative content.
  • Research and analyze trends to stay current with social media best practices.
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop multimedia content for campaigns.
  • Support in managing social media advertising projects and budgeting.
  • Assist in organizing and promoting social media events and live sessions.
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy, visuals, and tone across all social channels.
  • Generate ideas to enhance the reach and effectiveness of our social media content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven work experience in social media or digital marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with a diverse audience.
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools and metrics analysis.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate original social media content ideas.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software like Canva or Adobe Spark is a plus.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
  • Flexible with working hours, as some campaigns may occur outside typical hours.
