The Site Engineer – Civil & Interior is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that designs are consistently adhered to and that quality standards are maintained. The role involves not only a comprehensive understanding of civil engineering principles but also a keen eye for interior design and aesthetics. The Site Engineer will coordinate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project milestones are met. Knowledge of construction codes and standards is essential, as is the ability to work effectively within a team and to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be adept at problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all civil and interior site construction activities and personnel.
• Ensure that all civil engineering designs are implemented effectively on site.
• Coordinate with architects to maintain design integrity and project milestones.
• Monitor construction progress and generate status reports for stakeholders.
• Inspect project sites regularly to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction standards at all times.
• Maintain precise project documentation and records for future reference.
• Oversee procurement of materials and verify quality of received supplies.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project goals.
• Manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery of completed work.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to junior engineers and site workers.
• Review and approve project plans, blueprints, and interior design scopes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Interior Design Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in site engineering for civil projects.
• Proven experience with interior designs in a construction environment.
• Strong understanding of civil and interior construction practices and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project challenges.
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other construction design software preferred.
