Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for our valued clients, providing them with expert advice about vehicle maintenance and repair needs. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction. You will also communicate technical information effectively with both customers and our technical team. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a passion for the automotive industry, and a commitment to building lasting relationships with clients.


Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and attend to their automotive service needs.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections alongside technicians and discuss findings with customers.
  • Prepare detailed service estimates and obtain customer approval before proceeding.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage workflow to ensure efficiency.
  • Communicate clearly with customers about their vehicle’s condition and service options.
  • Liaise with technicians to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of repairs.
  • Keep detailed records of services, repairs, and communications with customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints effectively and promptly with professionalism.
  • Advise customers on additional services based on vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and feedback.
  • Maintain knowledge of automotive services, technology, and company policies.
  • Handle payment transactions accurately and provide receipts to customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role.
  • Strong understanding of automotive services and repair processes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to assist diverse customers.
  • Ability to explain technical information in a simplified manner for customers.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and automotive service software.
  • Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for multi-tasking responsibilities.
