Job Description

A Senior Project Manager plays a crucial role in steering complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with strategic business objectives. This position involves managing the planning, execution, and closing of projects while meeting budgets, timelines, and quality standards. The Senior Project Manager will oversee teams, communicate with stakeholders, and provide leadership in project methodologies and best practices. This role is pivotal for bridging the gap between technical teams and organizational goals, fostering collaboration across departments, and driving innovations. A successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a talent for motivating and leading a team to deliver outstanding results.


Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve aspirations and strategic directions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation for every project undertaken.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
  • Estimate costs, and budget effectively to ensure financial viability.
  • Conduct risks assessments and develop mitigation plans promptly.
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders and address concerns proactively.
  • Perform quality assurance procedures to meet compliance and quality standards.
  • Foster client relationships and ensure client satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Deploy industry-standard tools and methodologies for effective project management.
  • Identify improvements or additional projects to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the project documentation and reports are accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years project management experience in a corporate setting.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management experience.
