Job Description

As a Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales professional, you will bridge the technical and sales aspects of the business, providing critical support that ensures our solutions meet customer needs. You will partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements, derive insights, and design tailored solutions that align with our product offerings. Your technical expertise will help convince potential clients of the benefits of our technology, and you will be crucial in developing relationships that drive business forward. The role requires a balance of technical know-how and sales savvy, with responsibility for ensuring our solutions not only meet but exceed customer expectations.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand and address client technical requirements.
  • Design and propose solutions that meet customer needs and technical criteria.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Manage and assist with the response to RFPs and technical documentation.
  • Act as a technical resource for the sales team during the sales process.
  • Analyze and respond to technical inquiries from potential and existing clients.
  • Ensure customer technical objections are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Influence customer decisions by demonstrating the product's value and capabilities.
  • Participate in product training to maintain a deep understanding of offerings.
  • Contribute to the improvement of sales strategies and processes through feedback.
  • Support the development of long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to ensure competitive advantage in solution design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical role.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of relevant industry products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with clients.
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements and design effective solutions.
  • Experience responding to RFPs and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Highly motivated with a customer-oriented approach and problem-solving skills.
