Job Description

The Sales Engineer (23J25) role is a dynamic position that blends technical expertise with sales acumen. This role is critical in identifying customer needs, demonstrating and articulating the benefits of the company’s products or services, and closing the sales deal by offering sound technical insights. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the company's product line, keen analytical skills, and strong sales capabilities. You'll bridge the gap between customer requirements and product performance, assuring the highest level of satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive product presentations and demonstrations to potential and existing clients.
  • Consult with clients to understand their technical needs and requirements in detail.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategy plans.
  • Provide technical support to clients both during and after the implementation phase.
  • Design and deliver detailed technical proposals that meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements relevant to company offerings.
  • Assist in the creation of sales and promotional materials that highlight technical benefits.
  • Analyze and understand competitor products to strategically position the company’s offerings.
  • Contribute to the product development process by relaying customer feedback to technical teams.
  • Train and support clients and internal teams on product functionalities and best practices.
  • Manage the technical aspects of RFPs/RFQs to ensure comprehensive and competitive responses.
  • Build strong, sustainable relationships with clients to promote long-term business engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in sales engineering or a similar technical sales role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously when required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical content.
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into understandable concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and industry conferences as necessary.
