Job Description

A Retail Sales Promoter plays a pivotal role in enhancing a store's customer engagement and boosting sales. This frontline position requires dynamic individuals who can effectively communicate the features and benefits of products to entice and convert walk-in customers. The Retail Sales Promoter acts as a brand ambassador and ensures that customers receive a coherent and enjoyable shopping experience. In this role, individuals must maintain a positive store environment, engage with customers to provide exceptional service, and contribute actively to meeting store sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, have a confident and approachable demeanor, and demonstrate in-depth product knowledge that keeps customers informed and satisfied with their purchases.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Provide comprehensive product demonstrations and explain features effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales area for an optimal experience.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down promotional displays in the store.
  • Keep an updated inventory of promotional items and restock as necessary.
  • Collaborate with store managers to plan and roll out promotional activities.
  • Collect and relay customer feedback and suggestions to improve service offerings.
  • Achieve daily and monthly sales targets to meet overall store goals.
  • Process transactions efficiently and handle cash registers as required.
  • Stay informed on current product knowledge and industry trends and updates.
  • Participate in training and development programs to improve sales experience.
  • Handle any customer queries or complaints in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in a retail environment, is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for sales and marketing.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Proficiency in using point of sale systems and handling transactions.
