Job Description

The Retail Sales Promoter plays a crucial role in driving brand awareness and increasing product sales and market share in retail settings. As a Retail Sales Promoter, you will represent the brand and actively engage with customers, providing them with information and demonstrating products in a compelling manner. You are tasked with executing promotional activities and creating a positive shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty and repeat business. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and an in-depth understanding of customer dynamics. You will work closely with both retail partners and the marketing team to ensure that sales targets are met and that promotional efforts are effective.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to provide product demonstrations and promotions effectively.
  • Develop strong rapport with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
  • Collect customer feedback and report to management for product improvement strategies.
  • Set up and maintain visually appealing and organized product displays in retail stores.
  • Collaborate with store managers to maximize product exposure and promotional efforts.
  • Stay informed about product features and benefits to educate customers thoroughly.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
  • Track and report on sales performance and customer engagement to measure success.
  • Offer suggestions to improve retail environments to aid in maximizing sales potential.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and retail operational guidelines consistently.
  • Attend training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on new products and sales techniques.
  • Perform stock checks and ensure that all products are stocked appropriately and correctly tagged.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales or promotional roles, preferably in a related industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment under minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for effective display management.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering successful sales presentations.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to use retail systems and reporting tools efficiently.
