Quality Control Inspector 08J26

The Quality Control Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring that products meet established standards of quality and safety. This role involves inspecting, testing, and assessing products to ensure they meet all specifications and comply with regulatory standards. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving product quality from incoming raw materials to finished goods. You will work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensure compliance with industry standards, and continuously improve quality processes. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management. Successful candidates will be adept at using various inspection tools and techniques and committed to maintaining high levels of accuracy and safety in their evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and tests on products and raw materials for quality assurance.
• Document and report inspection outcomes accurately and systematically to management.
• Identify and report product defects and suggest corrective actions to the production team.
• Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and company specifications.
• Collaborate with production staff to improve product quality and prevent defects.
• Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback on production adjustments.
• Train and guide production team members on quality control standards and procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies as needed.
• Participate in internal and external audits and foster continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and manage non-conformances and coordinate solutions for quality issues.
• Prepare and deliver regular quality reports to stakeholders and upper management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in a quality control or inspection role.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using measurement and testing tools and equipment.
• Effective communication skills to interact with various levels within the organization.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
