Quality Assurance Tester 30J25

As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for testing software to identify and resolve defects, verify functionality, and ensure that products meet client and industry standards. Working closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders, you will also create and execute test plans, scripts, and cases to uncover software issues before they escalate into significant defects. Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans based on client requirements and specifications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to ensure prompt resolution.
• Collaborate with developers to understand software enhancements and modifications.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and scripts.
• Participate in requirement reviews to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional and non-functional testing procedures.
• Perform regression, integration, and system testing throughout development cycles.
• Communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information to stakeholders.
• Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions for identified issues.
• Ensure software compliance with quality standards and customer expectations.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Assist in user acceptance testing to validate software effectiveness and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with agile environments and testing frameworks, such as Selenium.
• Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
