Quality Assurance Tester 29N25

As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the products meet specified requirements and that they function properly without any issues. You will work closely with software developers to identify and resolve any defects that arise during the testing process. Your ability to troubleshoot complex systems and think analytically will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our products. Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans and test cases to ensure software functionality.
• Execute test plans and manually test software to identify defects and issues.
• Participate in the design and development of automated testing frameworks.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and report findings to the development team.
• Collaborate with developers to understand the design and functionality of the software.
• Maintain documentation of test results, and communicate them to stakeholders regularly.
• Create detailed and comprehensive test reports and present them to management.
• Identify, record, and track software defects using testing tools and platforms.
• Verify defect resolution through regression tests and re-testing processes.
• Perform stress and performance testing to ensure software meets performance standards.
• Continuously improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with industry standards and advancements in software quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role in software development.
• Strong understanding of various software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team atmosphere and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in using test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages is a plus.
• Strong capability to document and troubleshoot errors systematically.
