The QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) and IMS (Integrated Management System) Coordinator for Logistics and Relocations is an essential role focused on ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence and compliance within the organization. Positioned within a dynamic and fast-paced industry, the QHSE and IMS Coordinator works to harmonize health, safety, and environmental policies with integrated management systems to ensure seamless and efficient logistics operations. The coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and improving standards relating to quality, health, safety, and environment while ensuring that all logistics and relocation activities align with these standards. By leveraging both technical and interpersonal skills, this role is vital for promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational transparency within the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems in logistics.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics related to QHSE and IMS goals.
  • Coordinate with teams to design and execute safety training programs.
  • Analyze incident reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to enhance IMS integration and cooperation.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation relating to QHSE compliance and audits.
  • Advise management on critical areas for improvement in both safety and quality measures.
  • Ensure equipment and operational procedures are aligned with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at fostering a safety-conscious culture among all staff members.
  • Develop strategic plans to advance the company's quality assurance and safety objectives.
  • Foster relationships with external regulators and stakeholders to ensure compliant operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a QHSE role within the logistics industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of integrated management systems and relevant ISO standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing for effective reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive audits and analyze complex data.
  • Proficiency in incident investigation and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
