Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Django.
• Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to improve the usability of the applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Assist in the architecture and design of new and existing software projects.
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure that our practice remains at a high standard.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve our applications.
• Work with other team members to plan, review, and refine deliverables.
• Draft and maintain detailed technical documentation for all developed applications.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications to any front-end requests.
• Collaborate with team members to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Python/Django Developer or similar role in development.
• Strong knowledge of Python 3.x and Django framework fundamentals.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and ORM libraries.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
