Job Description

The Technical Project Manager (02F25) plays a crucial role in overseeing and leading technical projects from inception to completion. This role is responsible for coordinating efforts between various stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met within time and budget constraints. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator and an adept problem solver with a strong understanding of technology and project management methodologies. The Technical Project Manager will drive the planning and execution of projects, ensuring the alignment of technical solutions with business goals. They will also be responsible for managing project risks and issues, facilitating project governance, and mentoring team members. This role is vital for ensuring that projects align with the strategic objectives of the organization, delivering value to clients and stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor, track, and report progress.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
  • Facilitate discussions and decisions between team members and stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate techniques.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Oversee the production of project documentation including specifications and reports.
  • Lead and motivate the project team, driving project decisions and delivery successes.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Assess project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Conduct project evaluations and assess results for lessons learned and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector.
  • Solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with superior leadership capabilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple projects.
