As a Preschool Teacher, your role is integral in laying the groundwork for children's academic and social development during their formative years. This position requires a nurturing and patient individual who is enthusiastic about early childhood education. You will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that stimulates the curiosity and creativity of young children. Through structured play, music, art, and storytelling, you will introduce young learners to basic concepts that develop their cognitive, motor, and social skills. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that fosters children's cognitive and social growth.
• Prepare and organize the classroom environment to enhance learning opportunities.
• Incorporate a variety of teaching techniques such as storytelling, games, and songs.
• Observe and assess each child’s performance and progress, maintaining detailed records.
• Communicate with parents or guardians regarding children's developmental milestones and concerns.
• Create lesson plans that adhere to school and national guidelines, adjusting as needed.
• Promote a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
• Encourage positive social interactions and support emotional development in young children.
• Foster an open and supportive classroom atmosphere for children of diverse backgrounds.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate school events and projects.
• Engage in continuous professional development and attend training sessions as required.
• Maintain classroom discipline by practicing respectful and effective behavior management techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or early education setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Patience and creativity in handling classroom dynamics and diverse learning needs.
• Knowledge of child development principles and preschool educational strategies.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid or willingness to obtain certification.
• Background check and clearance as per state regulations for school staff.
