We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the growth and development of children between the ages of 3 to 5 years old in a nurturing and safe environment. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing engaging educational activities that meet the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of young children. It is essential for you to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where children can learn and thrive. Your ability to collaborate with parents, fellow teachers, and school administrators to uphold a high standard of educational excellence will be key in this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool children.
• Create engaging and educational lesson plans fostering student learning.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Facilitate social interactions and conflict resolution among preschool students.
• Monitor and assess the developmental progress of each child regularly.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and needs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff for integrated learning experiences.
• Provide individualized support and attention to children as needed.
• Incorporate creative arts and play into daily learning activities.
• Attend and participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions.
• Prepare and maintain reports on students’ progress and classroom activities.
• Ensure all activities align with the center’s educational goals and philosophy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience working in a preschool setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and adults.
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification is strongly preferred.
• State teaching certification or equivalent licensure is highly recommended.
