Job Description

The Presales Executive plays a pivotal role in driving the success of sales efforts within an organization. This professional is tasked with generating interest and creating proposals or presentations that communicate the value of a company's products or services. They are the technical and product knowledge centers that support the sales team in engaging with prospects more effectively. By understanding the client's needs and challenges, the Presales Executive tailors solutions that align perfectly with client requirements. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver compelling product presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase product features and benefits to prospects.
  • Identify and assess customer needs to tailor solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Work closely with product development teams to understand new features and enhancements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and sales-oriented documentation effectively and accurately.
  • Assist in developing sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Participate in industry events, seminars, and trade shows to present company offerings.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product portfolio and industry trends.
  • Liaise with clients to provide ongoing technical support and assistance post-sales.
  • Generate and share insights into competitor products and strategies to enhance competitive positioning.
  • Create case studies and success stories to showcase the impact of solutions delivered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a presales or technical sales support role for a minimum of two years.
  • Strong presentation skills, with an ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess client needs and tailor solutions effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales management software tools for efficient sales processes.
  • Strong team collaboration skills to work effectively across sales and technical teams.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and participate in technical sales activities.
