Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pre School Teacher to join our team. As a Pre School Teacher, you will be instrumental in shaping the early developmental stages of our students by fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment. You will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that encourage young children to grow in all areas of their life - intellectually, socially, and emotionally. This position requires creativity, patience, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of young learners. You will also work closely with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and collaborating to support each child's unique development journey.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute a curriculum that aligns with state standards and school requirements.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
  • Monitor and assess children's development and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Encourage children to develop social skills and positive interactions with peers.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress and needs.
  • Implement classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Maintain organized records of students’ progress, attendance, and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support school objectives and goals.
  • Design and organize activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional growth.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs and interests of each child.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and continue lifelong learning.
  • Ensure all classroom equipment and materials are clean, safe, and operational.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required.
  • At least two years of experience working in a preschool environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with adults and children.
  • Ability to implement engaging and age-appropriate educational activities.
  • Capability to manage classroom dynamics effectively and positively.
  • Current first aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain one.
