Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough manual testing on new and existing software applications.
• Design detailed and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
• Document clear and concise defect reports with necessary details for developers.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve defects effectively.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
• Maintain detailed records of test cases, executed tests, and test outcomes.
• Implement regression testing to ensure new code is defect-free.
• Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify testing procedures, scenarios, and oversee their execution.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the overall testing process.
• Stay informed about new tools and technologies relevant to software testing.
• Assist in the creation of training documents and user manuals when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with defect tracking tools, such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
