The Logistics Coordinator role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within an organization. This position acts as a vital link between suppliers, manufacturers, and the end customers, overseeing the entire supply chain to optimize productivity, cost-efficiency, and speed. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing logistics operations, organizing transport activities, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with logistics policies and regulations. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to streamline delivery processes.
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
  • Resolve any issues arising in the supply chain efficiently and promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse workers and truck drivers to optimize logistics efficiency.
  • Manage logistics software systems to enhance product lifecycle management.
  • Ensure all logistics operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and company policies.
  • Prepare accurate reports on logistics performance metrics and warehouse productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and logistics operations for audit purposes.
  • Implement cost-reducing logistics strategies to enhance overall company profitability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with logistics service providers and external partners.
  • Conduct regular analysis of logistic processes to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of logistics software, warehousing, and distribution management.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with a hands-on approach.
  • Knowledge of logistics regulations and industry compliance standards is desirable.
