Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support specialist, with the reference code 22N25, to join our dynamic team. As an IT Support member, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining hardware and software, and assisting users in troubleshooting complex issues. You will work collaboratively with other IT team members to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. Your goal is to ensure positive user experiences and maintain the highest quality technical environment. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to various IT projects and initiatives geared towards improving our IT infrastructure and processes.


Responsibilities

  • Provide first-tier technical support and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Assist users with system troubleshooting and problem resolution in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and applications.
  • Monitor and manage network systems to ensure accessibility and security compliance.
  • Document and track all requests within the helpdesk support system effectively.
  • Analyze system and network performance to identify and implement solutions.
  • Support the roll-out of new applications and systems updates as required.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical issues forwarded from tier one support.
  • Assist in maintaining infrastructure equipment and inventory records accurately.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and project implementations.
  • Develop end-user training resources and conduct sessions to enhance system usage.
  • Ensure data backup protocols are followed to prevent hardware and system failures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support or relevant technical support positions.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills to support and train end-users effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities according to urgency.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and certifications in IT support is advantageous.
