Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks for optimal performance.
  • Respond promptly to user requests and perform troubleshooting over the phone or via remote access.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, upgrades, and other IT activities.
  • Conduct regular system audits and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Coordinate with upper-level IT management to implement system updates and improvements.
  • Deliver user training on new applications and technology usage best practices.
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention to the relevant IT team members.
  • Assist in the testing and deployment of new applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop new strategies for improving IT functions.
  • Support end-user computing needs and collaborate on IT projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or a similar role in the industry.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with virtualization, backups, disaster recovery, and network security protocols.
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills in a technical setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
