Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our staff and clients, ensuring the swift resolution of any hardware, software, or network-related issues. Your role will be crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and user satisfaction by offering solutions and support for various technology platforms. You will engage directly with users over the phone, via email, and in person to diagnose issues and provide step-by-step guidance. Your expertise will contribute significantly to fostering a secure and streamlined working environment that encompasses a wide range of technological tools and systems.


Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support and guidance to staff and end-users.
  • Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications as required.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems and networks effectively.
  • Log, track, and resolve support requests using helpdesk software tools.
  • Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and passwords diligently.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for meetings.
  • Work with the IT team to implement new technologies and procedures.
  • Provide training to end-users on system and software usage as needed.
  • Ensure security compliance by applying necessary system updates regularly.
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve IT service processes and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in an IT support or technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common software applications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on user satisfaction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to assist users.
