Job Description

As an IT Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the successful planning and execution of IT projects within an organization. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that project goals and objectives are clearly defined and that project tasks are completed promptly and within budget. You will serve as a liaison between project managers, team members, and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and ensuring that all parties are aligned with project requirements. With a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize duties, you will contribute to the efficient functioning of IT services, solving issues as they arise and ensuring that project deliverables meet high standards of quality.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure efficient project implementation.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring targets are met and maintained.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project documentation and reports.
  • Facilitate communication among project team members and stakeholders effectively.
  • Organize and conduct project meetings, preparing agendas and documenting outcomes.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them proactively.
  • Support project managers in tracking the progress of tasks and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and clarifications.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when necessary.
  • Assist in resource allocation and scheduling to optimize project efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in coordination or management of IT projects preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project.
  • Analytical skills to assess project performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
