Job Description

The Inventory Management Coordinator is a critical role within the logistics and supply chain sector, responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing costs. Responsibilities

  • Conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy in stock levels and records.
  • Implement inventory control techniques to minimize excess and obsolete stock.

  • Liaise with warehouse staff for efficient goods receipt and shipping processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies in inventory management.
  • Lead training sessions for staff on inventory management best practices and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex data sets.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for vendor and stakeholder relations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address inventory discrepancies efficiently.
