Job Description

The HR Officer role is central to ensuring the smooth and effective administration of human resources policies and procedures within an organization. As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for managing HR documents, maintaining employee records, and coordinating HR projects and activities. This role requires a strong understanding of labor legislation, excellent communication skills, and an ability to handle HR tasks with discretion and integrity. You will be a key player in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that HR initiatives align with the business objectives. Your contributions will help in promoting employee satisfaction and adherence to labor regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality is preserved.
  • Coordinate recruitment, hiring processes, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Support performance management processes in collaboration with department managers.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Address employee queries and provide support as needed on HR-related issues.
  • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the coordination and planning of training sessions and professional development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare HR metrics and reports on staff costs, headcount, and other relevant data.
  • Support the HR department in the daily operations and strategic planning activities.
  • Lead or assist in HR projects aimed at enhancing employee engagement and productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR role with a track record of managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong understanding of labor legislation, HR processes, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS software for managing HR data.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
