Job Description

As an HR Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization's human resources policies, processes, and practices align with the company's strategic objectives. You will be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries and will be responsible for various HR functions including recruitment, training and development, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws. You will also collaborate with department heads to understand and execute the company's HR and talent strategy as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. Your role covers a broad range of HR activities that are crucial for fostering a positive workplace culture and promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies tailored to the organizational objectives and culture.
  • Facilitate the recruitment process including job postings, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and stay updated with HR trends and best practices.
  • Manage employee records using an HRIS and generate reports for management review.
  • Provide expert guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Oversee the performance management process and support employee progress and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and succession planning efforts.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the workplace environment.
  • Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues and grievances.
  • Coordinate employee events to enhance workplace morale and engagement.
  • Develop compensation and benefits programs suitable for organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR Officer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective employee interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite for efficient HR operations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills are required.
