Job Description

The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing various aspects of human resources practices and processes. As an HR Generalist, you will be instrumental in maintaining a strong, supportive, and trustworthy environment for both employees and management. This role demands proficiency in HR fundamentals, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. You will collaborate closely with departmental managers and executives to ensure that the company's HR activities support its overall business plan and strategic direction. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality will be essential as you provide HR solutions that align with organizational needs.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enhance recruitment processes to attract top talent efficiently.
  • Administer and maintain employee benefit programs in accordance with policy.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding to ensure smooth assimilation into the organization.
  • Manage employee relations issues and foster a positive work environment.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies aligned with company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Conduct performance management processes and provide guidance to leadership.
  • Update and manage HR records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Serve as a bridge for communication between management and employees.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and productivity.
  • Advise management on HR concerns and potential improvements in strategy.
  • Coordinate training sessions to promote career development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience working as an HR Generalist.
  • Solid understanding of labor legislation and employment law compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and tools for data management and reporting.
