As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to patients in various healthcare settings. Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Maintain clean, comfortable, and safe living conditions for patients in all healthcare environments.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions and updates.
• Help to mobilize patients using appropriate and safe lifting techniques and equipment.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families during treatment.
• Follow detailed care plans according to the needs and requirements of each patient.
• Support nursing staff in managing medical supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Transport patients within facilities as required for treatment or therapy sessions.
• Participate in training and development sessions to enhance patient care competencies.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect in handling personal and sensitive patient information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare education preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting or any medical care environment is beneficial.
• Certification as a Nurse Assistant or in patient care services is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with patients and teams.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting patients if necessary.
• Understanding of basic health and safety protocols in a healthcare facility.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in patient care and documentation.
• Flexibility in work hours, including availability for shifts and weekends if needed.
• Basic computer skills for documenting patient care data and communication.
