Job Description

As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Your pivotal role involves managing the smooth operation of our front desk, where your warm and professional demeanor will set the tone for visitors and guests. You will be responsible for greeting clients, handling inquiries, and providing a wide array of clerical support. Your ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, coupled with your strong communication skills, will be key to your success. Your role will contribute significantly to the initial perception guests have of our company, making your position essential to our operations and customer service objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors with a professional and warm demeanor upon arrival.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and efficiently to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  • Coordinate and manage the scheduling of meeting rooms and office resources.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail and package management activities daily.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email to inquiries.
  • Ensure the front desk area is orderly, neat, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Support the administrative team with general office tasks as required.
  • Manage visitor logs and issue visitor badges to ensure compliance with protocols.
  • Operate within the organization's standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in planning and executing company events, meetings, and workshops as necessary.
  • Handle emergencies promptly and follow company protocols for safety and security.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certification preferred.
  • Proven work experience in a front desk, reception, or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar office productivity software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills are essential.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
